Plastic Surgeons

Plastic Surgeons (or cosmetic surgeons) specialize in reconstructive and cosmetic surgery, with the goal of improving the appearance and/or function of a body part. Plastic surgery is used to repair or reconstruct parts of the body that are damaged, defective from birth, diseased or poorly developed.

Plastic surgeons are required to be highly competent surgeons as well as aesthetic craftsman, in order to provide an effective, desirable result. In addition to surgical alteration, there are many surface treatments available to the cosmetic surgeon, including BOTOX® Cosmetic, dermabrasion, injectable fillers, laser skin resurfacing and microdermabrasion.
